Royal Mail Cyber Attack shows the importance of stopping ongoing cyber attacks.

The Royal Mail was hit with Ransomware in January forcing it to halt international services [source]. On Jan 12th Royal Mail tweeted that they were “experiencing disruption to our international export services”. It was later disclosed that this was because of a “cyber incident” and it transpired that the incident in question, was caused by Lockbit Ransomware [source].
